Awful poodle perm -- still charged full price!

I went to the salon today to get a perm for the first time. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The big con in the beginning was that they didn't take credit, but that's not a big deal. I told the woman that my hair was dyed and had natural wave and so it would probably take the perm very strongly. She cut the time in half that the chemical was on my hair, but my hair still ended up looking like a poofy, poodly mess. The curls were tiny and fake-looking and frizzy, the exact opposite of what I wanted. I believe that she did her best, and she apologized profusely for the terrible perm, but then she still charged me FULL PRICE and didn't offer to do ANYTHING to fix it. She suggested waiting a few months and then coming in for a weave perm, which she would do at FULL PRICE. My hair was completely maimed and they did nothing to fix it. I'm sure they do a good job on lots of things, but when they mess up, beware, because they won't do a damn thing to help you.

the owner is awesome

I love this salon. The atmosphere is great. All the girls are wonderful. I go to the owner and have now for several years. Several of my family members and friends go to her as well. She has always done a great job. I would highly recomend this Salon and the owner as well.

beware of the owner

I have been going to this salon for about a year now. I always have a great experience except for my most recent one. The owner of Krome did my hair, and now I am searching for a new salon! It was crappy service and she did a crappy job. The others girls are super, just beware of the owner!
